Civic Sense AI

AI that monitors every street, so civic issues are found and fixed before anyone complains.

The AI on board reads the street as it goes and logs every problem it finds.

Detection01/ 03

Garbage

Bags dumped at the kerb, bins spilling over, the corner that has turned into a dumping spot. Graded Low to High.

Detection02/ 03

Potholes

From a crack that is starting to open to a hole that takes a wheel. Each one is logged with where it is and how bad.

Detection03/ 03

Broken footpaths

Missing slabs and broken kerbs: the things people trip on.

Across the city

One ward today. The whole city next.

Ward after ward, every street is driven and logged the same way.

What we detect

Every problem found, everything else counted

Problems are found, graded and flagged for repair. Signals, lights, signs, crossings, humps and manholes are counted and mapped, so the city can see where one is missing or needed.

And what is around it

Every find is placed on the city’s own map: the schools, hospitals, government offices, places of worship, parks and transit stops near it, and the class of road it is on.

So the city can fix what matters first. A pothole outside a school gate, garbage by a hospital or a broken footpath at a bus stop goes to the top of the list, ahead of the same problem on a quiet lane.

And see each street in depth. Analytics for every street and ward: what keeps going wrong, how often, near which places and on which roads.

From the street

Real finds, as the AI saw them

Frames the vehicle kept on its drives, with the AI’s boxes still on them: each one found, classed and placed on the map.

Who notices

Who notices the difference

Eight people, from the engineer to the resident, and what each of them sees change.

For the engineer

One standard on every street

A pothole is a pothole in every ward. Nothing depends on which inspector went out that day.

Who it's for

Who we work with

A metro corporation and a small council have different problems. The vehicle and the record are the same; what changes is how many wards you start with.

Seen a problem? Report it from your phone

Residents see the street every day. What they report lands in the same queue as the vehicles’ finds.

  1. Take a photo

Say what it is. The place is taken off the phone.

  2. It joins the same queue

Beside everything the vehicles find, graded and placed the same way.

  3. Follow it to the fix

You are told at every step, and can send it back if the fix does not match the street.
